Super Deli Mart Celebrates 3 Great Years

Super Deli Mart, the best little mini-mart in the World, is celebrating their 3rd Anniversary this Sunday, June 24th from noon to 4:00PM with another customer appreciation BBQ.  Can you believe it?  Three years already, and Super Deli Mart has attained quite the reputation and quite a following.

If you've never been there, you're missing out. With 5 taps and hundreds of bottle choices, Super Deli Mart rivals most Puget Sound area bottle shops and even a few taprooms.  And with everyday prices of $3 pints (or schooners, depending on the style/strength of the beers on tap) and $10 growler fills (though, no growler fills are allowed for certain specialty beers), it's a craft beer bargain-hunter's dream.

Super Deli Mart proprietor, Min Chung, teamed up recently with Pike Brewing Company to brew Super Deli Mart's special 3rd Anniversary brew.  One of Pike Brewing's best selling beers is their 'Kilt Lifer' Scotch Ale.  Well, Min assisted Pike head brewer, Dean Mochizuki, in brewing an extra strong version of Kilt Lifter, dubbed Super Kilt Lifter - weighing in at 9.5% alcohol.  This beer will be going on tap exclusively at Super Deli Mart this coming Sunday.

There will also be a few other unique Pike beers on tap, including three dry-hopped versions of Pike's Pale Ale: one aged on cherry wood, one aged on apple wood and one aged on cedar.  Personally, I'm looking forward to trying each of these unique offerings.  I'm quite familiar with Pike Pale Ale, but the dry-hopped and wood-aged versions are definitely something new.  This will really be a treat.

So will I see you down at Super Deli Mart this Sunday?  If you enjoy free BBQ and wonderful and unique craft beer selections in a craft beer mecca whose proprietor always makes sure his customers are satisfied, then get down to Super Deli Mart this Sunday!

Drink responsibly and stay safe out here.
