Seattle Beer Week kicks off this Thursday!  Below is the most up-to-date list of all Seattle Beer Week events (including a few not listed on seattlebeerweek.com!)  '

Just like last year, this year's SBW has become so crowded with events, it's literall impossible to hit every single one.  Watch soon for a new post on my event pics and where I'll be for each day of Seattle Beer Week 2012.  Cheers!

Day 1 - Thursday, May 10th:

All Day - Stone Tap Takeover at Super Deli Mart (9051 35th Ave. SW, Seattle, WA). Stone takes over the taps at Super Deli.  You never know what Min might have stashed away for this one.  Bring your growler and check it out. 

Kill The Lineup at Brave Horse Tavern (310 Terry Ave. N, Seattle, WA).  Help Brave Horse kill their kegs in preparation for Seattle Beer Week events.

4:00PM

'Angry' Tasting at Whole Foods Market - Westlake (2210 Westlake Ave., Seattle, WA).  Com try ciders from Angry Orchard, one of the newest ciders in the country.  Tasting is free. 

5:00PM

 Seattle Beer Week Kickoff Part 1 at Elysian Brewing Company on Capitol Hill (1221 E Pike St., Seattle, WA).  Join everyone at Elysian for the tappling of the Official Seattle Beer Week Beer, Split Shot, which will be tapped at 6:00PM.  Let the festivities begin! 

*Funky Beers at Old Town Alehouse (5233 Ballard Ave. N, Seattle, WA).  Come try three 'funky' beers from Browar Polska Distributing: Stillwater’s Cellar Door, a white sage Saison with Sterling and Citra hops. Jalapeno Lager from Mt. Shasta, and for the hop-heads, Leafer Madness from Beer Valley.

6:00PM

 Cask-O-Rama Part 1 at Beveridge Place Pub (6413 California Ave. SW, Seattle, WA).  There will be 12 different cask beers from 12 different Seattle area breweries across the bartop.  If you're a cask beer fan, come on down. 

Boundary Bay Brewery Night at 74th Street Alehouse (7401 Greenwood Ave. N, Seattle, WA).  Boundary Bay beers will be featured including a brewer's special draft, a special cask beer and it's glassware night.  Buy a pint and keep th class (while supplies last).  A Boundary Bay Brewery rep will also be on hand to answer your questions. 

A Day At The Races With Sierra Nevada at Cooper's Alehouse (8065 Lake City Way NE, Seattle, WA).  Bet on the horse races while enjoying one of 6 Sierra Nevada beers on tap - including something special from Sierra Nevada's cellar. 

Drink Your 'Fn' Beer at Elliott Bay Brewing Company (255 SW 152nd St, Burien, WA).  It's Foggy Noggin Brewer's Night at Elliott Bay.  There will be rare kegs, a prize raffle and live music.  Jim Jameson will also be on hand.

Seattle Beer Week Kickoff Part 2 at Pyramid Breweries' Seattle Alehouse (1201 First Ave. S, Seattle, WA).  Stop 2 on the opening night pub-crawl festivities for Seattle Beer Week 2012.

Seattle Beer Week Kickoff Part 3 at Naked City Brewery & Taphouse (8564 Greenwood Ave. N, Seattle, WA).  Stop 3 on the opening night pub-crawl festivities for Seattle Beer Week 2012. Come rub elbows with some of the stars of the brewing works.

Seattle Beer Week Kickoff Part 4 at The Pine Box (1600 Melrose Ave., Seattle, WA).  "Come put a nail in yer coffin" at the final stop of the opening night pub-crawl festivities for Seattle Beer Week 2012.

Day 2 - Friday, May 11th:

All Day - 'Back In Black' Stout Fest at Brouwer's Cafe (400 N 35th St., Seattle WA). This event has been billed as "A night of the biggest of the big, and the blackest of the black Stouts from around the way." 

The Four Seasons at Duck Island Alehouse (7317 Aurora Ave. N, Seattle, WA).  Revisiting some of the best beers from the past year by season.
Spring: Stillwater Of Love & Regret Saison and Snoqualmie Spring Fever Grand Cru.
Summer: Anderson Valley Summer Solstice and Unibroue Raftman (Peat-Smoked Whiskey Malt Belgian-Style Pale).
Autumn: Kostritzer Oktoberfest and Southern Tier Pumking
Winter: Deschutes Abyss Imperial Stout and Delirium Noel Belgian Dark Ale. 

Dogfish Head Tap Takeover at Super Deli Mart (9051 35th Ave. SW, Seattle, WA). All taps will be taken over by Dogfish Head beers from Delaware.  There will be pint, schooner and growler specials on Dogfish Head beers.   

Beer Club Kickoff Party at Brave Horse Tavern (310 Terry Ave. N, Seattle, WA).  The kickoff party for Brave Horse Beer Club Members.  This is a club members only event. 

*$3.00 Canned Beer Night at Old Town Alehouse (5233 Ballard Ave. N, Seattle, WA).  $3.00 Canned beer.  What more do you need to know? 

3:00PM

Maple Leaf Art Walk at Cooper's Alehouse (8065 Lake City Way NE, Seattle, WA).  See (and buy!) artwork from local artists while enjoying some great beers.   

4:00PM

Avery, Boneyard & Fromage at Urban Family Public House (5329 Ballard Ave. NW, Seattle, WA).  Avery and Boneyard take over the taps and Washington cheese takes over the kitchen. 

Double Mountain vs. Terminal Gravity at The Noble Fir (5316 Ballard Ave. NW, Seattle, WA).  A Double Mountain vs. Terminal Gravity tap takeover.  Full tap list to be announced. 

Palate Rehabilitation Clinic at Beer Authority (12716 Lake City Way NE, Seattle, WA).  "Hopped out? Palate obliterated by double digit ABV's saturated in whiskey barrels? The Beer Authority will host a "Palate Rehabilitation Clinic" to set your taste buds right."

New Belguim at Whole Foods Market - Remond (17991 NE Redmond Way, Redmond, WA).  Come sample beers from New Belguim Brewing at Whole Foods.  Tasting is free. 

5:00PM

*Diamond Knot Dueling Casks For Charity at Elliott Bay Pizza & Pub (800 164th St SE, Suite L, Seattle, WA).  "Join Pat Ringe from Diamond Knot Brewing as we raise money for The Boys and Girls Club of Mukilteo. Two casks: Apple Cinnamon ESB (this year's 1st place winner from the second session of Cask Fest) and Industrial IPA, dry hopped with Nugget and Columbus hops. Your vote decides a winner!"

*Decompression Strong Ale Release Party at Maritime Pacific Brewing Company (1111 NW Ballard Way, Seattle, WA).  It's the 2012 release of Maritime's Decompression.  They'll have casks of 2011 & 2012 as well as a bourbon barrel aged 2011.

Cask-O-Rama Part 2 at Beveridge Place Pub (6413 California Ave. SW, Seattle, WA).  Day 2 of Beveridge Place's Cask-O-Rama. 

Phinney Artwalk Featuring Rawi Nanakul at Naked City Brewery & Taphouse (8564 Greenwood Ave. N, Seattle, WA).  This is a Phinneywood Art Walk Gallery Opening featuring black-and-white metal prints from renowned brewery photographer, Rawi Nanakul.  The artist will be on hand to share the stories behind the photos and to sell the prints.  Grab one while they last. 

Inking & Drinking at Pub at Piper's Creek (10527 Greenwood Ave. N, Seattle, WA).  Come get some free new ink at Pipers!  Fancy a brewery logo tattoo?  This is your event! 

Firefighter Benefit Featuring Ninkasi at McCoy's Firehouse (173 S Washington St., Seattle, WA).  This is a benefit for families of firefighters who have lost their lives in the line of duty.  All proceeds made from sales of Ninkasi Commonwealth Multigrain Ale will be donated.

Day 3 - Saturday, May 12th:

All Day - Peanuts and Beer at Super Deli Mart (9051 35th Ave. SW, Seattle, WA). Try beers from Oakshire Brewing and get free samples of Unlcle Bud's Deep Fried Peanuts - eat 'em shell and all!  (http://unclebudspeanuts.com/)

East Coast Tap Takeover at
The Burgundian (2253 N 56th St, Seattle, WA).  All 22 taps at The Burgundian (formerly 'The Publican'), will be taken over by beers from the East Coast, all day long. 

Beer Bus Crawl at
Beer Authority (12716 Lake City Way NE, Seattle, WA).  "Beer Bus from The Beer Authority to 7 Seas Brewing in Gig Harbor, Silver City Brewery in Bremerton and Sound Brewery in Poulsbo then back across from Kingston to Edmonds. At each brewery or tasting room will include 3 or 4 tasters of beer, this is a chartered bus with a bathroom and you will be able to drink beer on the bus too."

HOP IPA Brunch at Elysian Tangletown (2106 N 55th St., Seattle, WA).  Weekend brunch at Elysian with 10 IPAs on tap with suggested breakfast pairings. 

Kegs N' Eggs With Elysian Brewing Company
at Brave Horse Tavern (310 Terry Ave. N, Seattle, WA).  Brave Horse will be pairing the official beer of Seattle Beer Week 20120 - Split Shot Espresso Milk Stout from Elysian Brewing, with a special of house-made doughnuts with bourbon caramel and chocolate dips.  Reps. from Elysian Brewing will also be on hand.

3rd Annual Pig Roast & Homebrew Competition
at
Quinn's (1001 E Pike St., Seattle, WA).  This year they'll be doubling the amount of pork served at the first two annual pig roasts.  There'll be live music and various activities.  One ticket gets you beer and all the pig you can eat!  And now a homebrew competition has been added to this event.  More details will be forthcoming.  For reservations/details, please contact Quinn's at 206-325-7711.

The Dray 4th Anniversary Celebration at
The Dray (708 NW 56th St., Seattle, WA).  Opening early for the 131st FIFA Cup Final - then Sounders vs. RSL at 7:00PM - c'mon out, enjoy some soccer and help The Dray celebrate their 4th Anniversary. 

Tour De Pints #4 at

Pine Box Can Derby

The Pine Box (1600 Melrose Ave., Seattle, WA).  Build the ultimate can racer at home or you can build one on the spot.  The race is on!  Prizes will be awarded.  This event is hosted by New Belgium Brewing.

3rd Annual Brewer's 9 Ball Tournament

Taphouse Grill Seattle (1506 Sixth Ave., Seattle, WA).  "Pair up with 1 of 8 breweries in teams of 5 and go head to head in a winning team takes all ($800 in brewery/Taphouse gift certificates) championship! Featuring team captains from these awesome breweries: Skagit River, Flyers, Ninkasi, American, Fremont, Iron Horse, and Naked City. Beers from all breweries on tap. Free entry. Dogfish Head vs. Cascade

The Noble Fir (5316 Ballard Ave. NW, Seattle, WA).  It's Beer/Wine Hybrid Night!  The Vine & Sang Royal from Cascade vs. Noble Rot & Red and White from Dogfish Head.  Which beer/wine hybrid will come out on top?  I'll be going into this one with a bit of a bias.  I just love Noble Rot! 

An Evening With Lagunitas at
Bottleworks (1710 NE 45th St., Seattle, WA).  There will be an 'old school' Bottleworks style tasting of Lagunitas' current bottle offerings, a special Lagunitas beer on tap and perhaps "a little sumpin' sumpin'" from the cellar.

Colorado Brewer's Night

Naked City Brewery & Taphouse (8564 Greenwood Ave. N, Seattle, WA). A celebration of some of the best beers of of Colorado.  More details will be coming soon. 

*Northsound Brewing Night at Old Town Alehouse (5233 Ballard Ave. N, Seattle, WA).  Northsound beers will be on tap and Northsound owner/founder Kurt Ahrens will be on hand to pass out some swag.  Featured beer: Hop Chops IPA dry hopped with Falconer's Flight hops. 

*Sip And Slurp at Wine World Warehouse (400 NE 45th St., Seattle, WA).  This is a beer and oyster pairing competition.  Taylor Shellfish will be shucking oysters for only $1 each and you get to decide which is the “right” beer pairing for you! Classic Movie DJ Session #1
at Naked City Brewery & Taphouse (8564 Greenwood Ave. N, Seattl, WA).  Some enjoy a screening of Alfred Hitchcock's classic, Psycho, accompanied by a live, synchronized soundtrack by DJ Nicfit.  "Naked City's Screening Room seats about 70 people and features full table service for dining and drinking. DJ Nicfit's live film soundtrack performances have drawn crowds and acclaim at the Seattle International Film Festival's Uptown Theatre, at Bauhaus Coffee, and at Naked City's own Screening Room on the last Sunday of every month. Big Time First Ever Barrel Release

Big Time Brewery & Alehouse (4133 University Way NE, Seattle, WA).  Big Time's first ever bourbon barrel aged stout, "Heavenly Bourbon" will be released.  This is a 9% stout aged for 8 months in a Heavenly Hills bourbon barrel.  This beer will only be available at Big Time and a very limited number of growlers will be filled.

Bottleworks (1710 NE 45th St., Seattle, WA).  A design battle for Bottleworks' new window display.  "Bring by your idea by Thursday, May 10, drawn out or a scale model for folks to vote on all beer week long. The winner's design/art will get to take over our window display for an entire month. Must be beer related/themed. Stop by beforehand for dimensions/electrical restrictions. Votes will be totaled and the winner decided on Mon-21st."

Squirreled Away at
The Dray (708 NW 65th St., Seattle, WA).  All week long, The Dray will be featuring rare, off-season and cellared beers fom their 'secret stash'.  You'll have to drop by to find out what's pouring. 

Four Roses Boilermakers at
