Upcoming Events At Beveridge Place Pub

One of my favorite craft beer stops in Seattle, Beveridge Place Pub (BPP), has lots of great events on tap for August.  If you've never been there, this month is a great time to head down and check them out.  They were recently rated #1 in the Top 10 Beer Spots list by Seattle Beer News.  They also just increased the number of taps they have to 36, offering an even wider selection of great craft beers and ciders.

Walking into BPP, it has a comfortable feel like a big family room.  In addition to the bar and tables, there are also a couple of couches, some easy chairs and to top it off, they're even dog friendly (well behaved, non-barking dogs please).  They also have pool (free on Tuesdays) and shuffleboard.  They do not, however, have any food beyond nuts and popcorn, so they allow any outside food you want to bring.  If you didn't bring anything, they have menus from local establishments that will deliver food to you right in the bar.

While BPP caters to the sports fan crowd for Mariners, Seahawks, Sounders games and more, they also realize that not everyone wants the game on.  To handle this challenge, BPP is split into two sides.  The side where the main bar is has no televisions at all, while the other side of the bar is where you'll find all the TV's, pool and shuffleboard tables, and the dart board.  So, if you prefer a quieter, TV-less experience, stay on the bar side.  If you want to watch the game and cheer your team, head to the 'sports' side.  It's your choice.

Events for the month of August include:

Thursday, August 2nd - 7:00PM
Two Beers Brewer's Night:
If you're a fan of Two Beers Brewing, or you have yet to try their beers, this night is for you.  Along with their Immersion Amber (which BPP usually has on tap), they'll also be pouring:
-EVO IPA
-India Session Ale
-Backcountry CBA
-Vintage Pumpkin Spice
-A special infused cask of Crooked Wit

Wednesday, August 8th - TBD
Sounders Open Cup Final:
Come down to BPP to catch the Sounders Open Cup Final Match!
(The broadcast has not yet been confirmed, but if it will be on, BPP will be showing it.)

Thursday, August 9th - 7:00PM
Boulevard Brewer's Night:
Boulevard is becoming one of my favorite breweries off the West Coast.  Some of their more 'rare' selections on tap for this evening will include:
-Rye-On-Rye
-Saison Brett (I enjoy this brett far more than the recently released 'Mo Betta Bretta' from Lost Abbey/New Belgium
-Double Wide Imperial IPA
-A new collaboration brew

Saturday, August 11th - Saturday August 18th
BPP Cider Revival Week:
Though I haven't gotten into them much myself yet, it seems that craft ciders are becoming quite the thing lately.  They're a great choice for those looking for something a little different than beer, and the number and quality of craft ciders has really exploded in the past couple of years.

BPP will have at least six different ciders on tap all week long, including some special, rare offerings.  There will also be some special bottle tastings out on the patio (which BPP calls their "Beveranda").

Thursday, August 23rd - 7:00PM
Snipes Mountain Brewer's Night:
Chad from Snipes Mountain has been preparing some special things for this event, including a few rare sours and some "experimental hoppy goodness".

So there you have it, a full month's worth of great events at BPP!  So head over to West Seattle this month and have a great time at a great place.
